Welcome to Brit Lit CPA


Post below on two of the following topics in the same post. Please keep things school appropriate, post your name at the bottom of the entry for class credit. Your post should be three to four sentences.

1. What is something about Great Britain, British culture, history or literature that you love?
2. What made you want to take British Literature? (If you didn't want to, then don't respond to this one).
3. What has been your favorite book you have read in high school and why?
4. What is a goal you have for when you get out of school?


Remember, your reading tonight is Beowulf pages 11-23 and take some notes on plot, cultural reflections on Beowulf etc. Be prepared for a reading quiz tomorrow.

    1. One thing I love about the British is their contributions to punk music.

    1. One thing I love about Britain is the history. It's filled with huge battles and interesting stories.

    3. My favorite book from high school is "The Great Gatsby". The setting and characters are very well done.

    3. My favorite book that I have read in high school is I am Legend. I liked it because it was interesting and I enjoyed comparing it to the movie.

    3. My favorite book that I have read in high school is "The Sound and The Fury". I loved it because the plot wasn't straight forward and predictable. I had to put alot of time into decoding it.

    4. After high school I plan to go to college.

    3. My favorite book that I have read in high school is "The Great Gatsby". I enjoyed the book because it took place during the 1920's which was an interesting time period in American history.
    4. I plan to graduate college after high school.

    3. My favorite book that i have read in high school is "The Things They Carried". I liked it because it was interesting about the war stories Tim O'Brien had.

    3. My favorite book that I've read in high school is "The Great Gatsby". I enjoyed how extravagant Gatsby was and how the wealthy lived during the 1920s.
    4. After high school I want to get my bachelors in engineering.

    3. My favorite book I read in high school is "The Great Gatsby." I liked it because of its interesting plot and entertaining setting in the roaring 1920's.

    3. My favorite book i read in high school is "The Great Gatsby." i enjoyed the novel because of its interesting plot and the creative characters.
